Challenge
How can the metro stations in Stockholm be better adapted to the needs of travellers in the future?
Approach
Liveworks is part of a research project where we let travellers document their needs and experiences on a number of stations. During a few days, recruited travellers share their in-the-moment needs as they exit a train or enter a station. With their phone as their digital diary, they also upload commented photos of positive and negative experiences at the station.
Travellers are also involved in the future perspective, both by uploading requests and ideas, things they might have seen somewhere else or just imagine, and by taking part in focus groups as a second step.
Outcome
This is a strong method to collect visual insights from the stations of today, to turn into creative solutions, offers and environments of tomorrow.
We hope for great station experiences!
